Have you ever wanted to do something but didn't know where to start?  If you're like me I was taught to go to school, get a job and then what?

After graduating from Western Illinois University with Accounting Degree, shortly after licensed CPA, I lived in downtown Chicago with a career at one of the top public accounting firms located across the Chicago river, just steps from my front door.  I was living the life.  So I thought.  I lived and played in downtown Chicago... What more could I want?

Well that all changed when the firm sent me to Los Angeles to audit an international travel agency.  I was introduced to a new world.  The ocean, the mountains, driving up the coast and the people... well most are transplants and they lived a completely different lifestyle than what I was used to.

Our team stayed one week and the last night we had dinner at Gladstones in Pacific Palisades overlooking the ocean at sunset.  It was January, a negative 30 degrees in Chicago and all I could think was... if I could choose to live here ...why not?  So I went back to Chicago, ask for a transfer and I arrived in Los Angeles 3 weeks later.

Fast forward 11 years later, I've traveled to France, Italy, Spain and England, just to name a few. Previously the Owner and Buyer of a Luxury Shoe Retailer for Women with a location in Beverly Hills.   I lived in an apartment in Paris for 6 months, (definitely a Dream come true).  Currently, attending Los Angeles Trade Tech College for Fashion Design and current Member of The Arts of Fashion Foundation . I am having the time of my life.  I am learning so much about art, design and creativity that I never knew I was capable of.

I will share my journey to live my dreams as a fashion designer and other life transformations with hopes to inspire your dream journey.
